Blogs

I never knew the popularity of blogs until shortly before I started this one... I had heard of them, but hadn't known really what they were or why someone would have one. I am sure the reasons are as varied as the topics that are covered.

The reason I started a blog was to share stories and pictures of our everyday life with those that are too far away. In rereading some of the entries over the years, I have found that the blog has also given me a chance to reflect and appreciate the moments of life. I have always desired to be a diary writer or journal keeper, but it just never happened in the traditional sense... and while this blog did not start out as a journal, I find that it really is that to me.

Not all that long ago, I was told that a friend of mine also keeps a blog/website. It is a consumer-friendly blog with her thoughts on products, money saving success stories, and fun, cheaper ways to do things. She has some great giveaways as well... Check it out! :) http://themamareport.com
