Spring has sprung, although the temperatures are colder than I'd prefer. I suppose I should be happy the snow is gone and I can enjoy large chunks of time outside without freezing. :)
Abi has been spending tons of time outside. Her and her daddy have planted the garden. I've been told there are lots of peas and beans planted as well as canteloupe, pumpkin, strawberry corn, and indian corn. She also has a small flower garden that she chose to fill with marigolds and begonias.

Mikayla received a swing for the swing set and loves it. She is so content in there... Depending on her mood, she is either laughing at Abi while swinging and kicking her legs in excitement or she is just relaxed in the swing. She was so relaxed a few days ago, she fell asleep. It reminded me of her infancy days. Now, I realize that those days aren't _that_ long ago, but it feels like a lifetime.
We are anxiously looking forward to our Boston get-a-way weekend with Chad, Melissa, and Zach. Abi has officially chosen her clothes, is busy collecting the other necessary things (hopefully she will not be disappointed when I veto some of the 20 books, the numerous doll accessories, etc). We will be tight on space, so are trying to consolidate and bring only what is absolutely necessary. Our plans for Boston include a Mets/Red Sox game! It will be Mikayla's first Major League baseball game.... and Abi's 5th? I think. It will be hers (and mine) 3rd park... Shea, PNC Park, and then Fenway! :) Later in the summer, we will be adding Wrigley Field to the list. Next year, we are hoping to check out the Mets new home, Citi Field.
Other things that we have doing include taking Mikayla to the doctor for an ear check. The good news is that the previous ear infection is cleared up. The bad news is she is an equal ear infectioner (yes, that's a word... well, now it is. :) ) and now has an ear infection in her right ear. I am not at all surprised by that being as last night was a long night... She awoke at midnight and stayed up until almost 3. She was fine as long as she was either cuddling or drinking her milk. If I tried to lay her down, different story. She has appeared fine today and hopefully tonight will be a better sleep night. The good news was that I was in the middle of a really, really good book. "Between Sisters" by Kristin Hannah. I strongly recommend it. Even after Mikayla finally did fall asleep, I stayed up to finish it.
Abi's school year is winding down as well. Her class had the zoo field trip today and have only 2 more regular sessions of school left, not including the picnic and moving up ceremony. I just cannot believe it. She has enjoyed it SO much, but I'm not sure who will be more sad come the last day... I wish I could express how much I've seen her change since September. Everyday she amazes me with her vocabulary and problem-solving skills among other things.
Oh, and one other random thought... I was checking out the live feed on here and see some cities that don't seem obvious. If you are willing, please post a comment to say who is checking? I'm just curious. :) I love that sometimes my feed usually comes across as "Syracuse"... I'm a ways from there... and I see that Lindy shows up as Humboldt. Lindy, how big is Humboldt?

All for now....
I'd love to hear from everyone to see what they are up to and what is new.
