The past few days...

Hi all!

Everyone ready for Christmas? I have officially finished shopping and wrapping everything needed for this weekend. Hard to believe that Christmas is so close. I love this holiday, so when it's over, I'm always a little sad. It feels like we spend so much time getting ready for the holiday and that it is gone SO fast. I'm also a little sad by the fact that we will be having a green Christmas this year... that is unless something crazy happens with the weather in the next few days.

As for other things in life... Abi has had a rough week. On Monday morning, she started throwing up... and continued that thru Tuesday morning. Poor girl couldn't keep anything down including water, jell-o, or apple juice. I took her to the doctor on Monday afternoon just to make sure that she wasn't dehydrated or having other issues. Jodi (the NP) confirmed that Abi just had a touch of the 'stomach bug'. She is still clingy and sleepy with little appetite, but she is bouncing back.

Her latest fascination has been to get dressed... she has started to pick out her own clothes as well as layer them in strange ways. When I got her into her pajamas last night, I had to take off 3 shirts! (1 long sleeve and 2 t-shirts) It's really cute how she comes up with her ideas.

I am posting some pictures from the past few weeks... you can see that she isn't always a happy child, but is still cute!

For all our friends and family that we can't be with this year, Have a Merry Christmas and know that we are thinking of you!

Love,
Angie

Snowtime Fun

Abi made a new discovery this week. She now knows what snow is and that it is wet and cold. :) We actually had enough snow on the ground this week to try out the toboggan that Jane and Bill gave us before they moved to Seattle. Abi didn't know what to think of it at first, but quickly learned it's pretty fun to get pulled around in the snow.

This is going to be a short entry tonight... I am getting comfy-cozy and thinking about stretching out in my bed for a long night's sleep. :)

Enjoy the pictures!
