Bathroom pictures...

Here are the much awaited pictures of the bathroom...

I am very impressed at how it is turning out... not that I am surprised by Greg's ability to do it, but it has been a challenge with so many distractions and interruptions.

Any opinions out there? ... before it's offered, yes we will be taking the painting tape off... putting up some wall tile... and even put in a toilet! :)

Bathroom...

Has anyone realized that the bathroom hasn't been mentioned lately? That's because until last week, there hadn't been much change! I have been working some extra shifts & crazy hours so Greg has been on Abi duty much more... and while Abi is a helpful child, we don't feel that her helping in the bathroom would be such a smart choice.

Greg has finally found the time to get some color onto the walls of the bathroom and is expecting to tile the floor and hopefully the walls while Abi and I are away. Isn't that great for me? Greg has worked so hard on this bathroom and I'm sure he'll really appreciate it when it's done! :)

G'night!

New Year

Hello again,
It seems as if it's been a long time since I've updated the blog... It isn't that there isn't anything to say, it's just that I am enjoying my time with Abi that I hate to take the time to update the blog! :) Sorry everyone. :)

Although, right now Abi and I are hanging out. She is either going to be a millionaire or else be married to one, I hope. She really LOVES money. She is currently being entertained by a handful of coins that she is putting into and taking out of her Fisher Price Little People airplane. Just a few minutes ago, we were taking the money in and out of her little elephant bank. She thinks it is just cool stuff. She also can tell you what each kind of coin is. She sometimes gets a little confused between nickel and quarter, but for the most part she does very well. No matter how big her pile of money may be, she always asks for "more". If only it were that easy, right? I guess I can remember telling my mom when I was younger "just to write a check"... and I guess I figured if you had the checks, you had the money...

Things in New York have finally started to feel like winter this week. We even got down to the teens today for the first time in a long time. Over the past two days, we have some 'lake effect snow' falling which usually means lots of wet snow in a relatively short time frame. We only managed to accumulate 4 to 5 inches here, but that is about 2 times what we've had all year! :) The snow has been very pretty... although it has made driving a little difficult on the back roads.

I'll try to get some pictures posted to the site so that you can see how much Abi has changed. I have been looking at pictures of her when she was an infant.... it's hard to even believe she is the same person. Her personality has developed so much in the past few months. I don't even have words that can adequately describe her. Cute, beautiful, etc just don't seem to do it justice. Granted, I am not exactly objective. :)

Well, back to playing with Abi... we have moved onto playing with colors (i.e. Crayons). She is enjoying moving them from floor to bucket to bag. Who actually needs to use them to color?

Hope all is doing great!
