Wow!

Time sure does fly by... I have been thinking about posting for a long time... thinking about the things that I should share. Thinking, thinking, thinking. Unfortunately, I haven't done any posting!

We have been busy as usual and as the weather has turned colder, we have been spending a little more time at home. Greg found a good deal on firewood so we have been cozy in our family room with a roaring fire daily for the past week. :) I never had the pleasure of a fireplace growing up, but I have to say, it is very nice...

Abi is now full swing into her pre-Kindergarten class at the same school as last year. She has made new friends and reunited with old ones. She really enjoys going to school. What are our chances that will continue for another 20 years?? :) This year I have joined the school board for the pre-school which I am sure will be interesting. I am excited for the chance to make positive rolls to the school board and the nursery school. The program is SO great and definitely children focused.

Mikayla is as busy as ever with her vocabulary expanding everyday. It will not be long now until she is going to preschool herself. Her favorite things/people currently are Abi and Lily. She adores Abi and is often trying to mimic her. Mikayla loves Lily also... and loves to give her kisses. Thankfully Lily is fairly tolerant of this... She is definitely NOT like the cat I had growing up.

Greg has started his school year as well. He is now considered 40% of full-time which includes his own school email address AND an office. He seems to be enjoying the year and enjoys making a difference in the children and improving the current Social Studies program.
