Saturday Sayings...
Hi again everyone!
Just thought I'd take a moment to fill you in our happenings... We have all been doing very well except that we are suffering from a bit of Spring Fever. It was made worse by a few really beautiful days then return to some snow and cold. The meteorologists assure us that warmer days are coming our way fairly soon.
Abi is learning SO many new things everyday and it seems that she is really developing her personality even more. She is now signing several words including "please". She has even learned that Grandparents are softies! The other day we were at the mall doing some shopping and happen to come across Grandpa Jaros eating his lunch... Of course, he was sharing his french fries with Abi and in his attempt to be stern (ha, ha!)... he said she needed to finish the one she had before he'd give her another. But, all Abi had to do was point and sign "please". Can you believe that he gave her another one (before she was done with the previous?!)
She is also picking up speed. She will definitely be a good exercise program for us this summer. :) She has been outside a couple of times to play in the grass, but doesn't quite know what to do. When she stumbles and her hand touches the grass or some dirt, she gets a look on her face that seems to say "eww... I'm not sure I like this." Ironic since a few months ago and probably would still today have no problems picking up a bug and attempting to put that in her mouth! FYI- it was those little ladybug like bugs that seem to invade everyone's homes!
Greg finished his bowling league last week and had the banquet last night... he came home with lots of stuff. He got a gift basket full of random things including a thermal hot chocolate mug (b/c it'd probably never contain coffee while being at our house!). For a door prize, he also got a gift certificate to a local gas station... which will come in handy especially the way gas prices are going. :( He also won a couple of awards: most improved average for the league. He went up 19 pins compared to last year! and also 200 game. He seemed very happy about it. He really enjoys bowling and has some great people to bowl with... probably explains why he enjoys it so much!
As for me the biggest change, at least professionally, is that we will be opening our new CVS store 2 weeks from tomorrow. Somehow we will be closing early Saturday night (about 3 pm versus 9 pm) and moving things over to the new location... We'll be open for business 9 am on Sunday. It should be an interesting and hectic next few weeks. The new pharmacy is really HUGE compared to what we are in now. Currently we have 3 terminals for computer data, etc... in the new store we will have 10! For an interesting point, we only have 10 people total that work in the pharmacy... and no, we are never all there at the same time. Oh well, it will definitely give us room to grow.
I think that pretty much sums up our lives at the moment... I hope everyone is doing well.
