Tales of a 3-year old...

Hello again,
Near a week has passed since Abi's 3rd birthday... Hard to believe that she is already 3 years old! Yikes! She had her 3-year check-up this week with Dr. Ritter and all is well. She got to put on a children's hospital gown and looked absolutely CUTE! The gown had Looney Tune characters on it... had it been Care Bears or Mickey Mouse, I'm not sure I'd have been able to get it off of her. :)
Her latests statistics are:
Weight 32.3 pounds (50%), Height 38 1/4 inches (75%), and blood pressure was 88/42. She thought the blood pressure cuff was a little silly... wasn't sure of what the point was, but was good while the nurse took it. She doesn't have to go back for another year provided no illnesses come up before then. :) Dr. Ritter did notice that we'd be back sooner than that due to my pregnant shape.

Speaking of pregnant shape, I went to the doctor again yesterday. (We are now 32 weeks.) It was a quick, routine appointment of check the baby's heart beat, the size of the baby, the uterus, etc. The office was running behind quite a bit (really, quite unusual for them)... so for our 5-minute appointment, we were there just over 1 and 1/2 hours. It was alright though as Abi loves the Fisher Price farm, coloring book assortment, and fishies that are at that office. Of course, that doesn't even mention the water dispenser they have! :)

How is everyone?

I am looking forward to my maternity leave... I really hope this baby is like Abi and delays entry into this world so that Abi and I can enjoy some Mommy and Me time while I am off of work. I haven't decided what we will do, but perhaps Mother Nature will have melted the snow by then and we can enjoy the park some. As I write that last sentence, I can look out the window and see the fresh blanket of 10 or so inches she dropped the past few days. It is a really beautiful snow, but most of us are looking forward to spring...

Okay, time to get back to the nesting. Much to do! :)

Love,
Angie
